Pope Francis Daily Reflections: July 19th 2021
Monday 19th July : Attention in human life, especially that in greatest difficulty, that is, to the sick, the elderly, children, deeply involves in the mission of the Church.
Tuesday 20th July : In the light of faith and right reason, human life is always sacred and always “quality”. There is no human life that is more sacred than another: every human life is sacred! There is no human life, qualitatively more significant than another, only by virtue of resources, rights, great social and economic opportunities.
Wednesday 21st July: Your work wants to be a witness by word and by example that human life is always sacred, valuable, and inviolable. Ans as such, it must be loved, defended, and cared for.
Thursday 22nd July: Fidelity to the Gospel of life and respect for life as a gift from God sometimes require choices that are courageous and go against the current, which in particular circumstances, may become points of conscientious objection.
Friday 23rd July: Fathers must be patient. Often there is nothing else to do but wait; pray and wait with patience, gentleness, magnanimity, and mercy
Saturday 24th July: It is not “progressive” to try to resolve problems by eliminating a human life. On the other hand, it is also true that we have done little to adequately accompany women in very difficult situations.
